INFO RETURN TO NEW ZEALAND abt 1922. A book-length biography of E.M. Blaiklock mentions the Mitchell family. The Mitchells came to New Zealand first in 1912 as dairy farmers at Wayby, Northland. They returned to England in 1916 after the older boys [John Leslie and Cyril James] went to war. In about 1922, the family returned to New Zealand and settled at Blockhouse Bay [Auckland] in a property on a cliff overlooking Manukau Harbour. (BlaikChrSch pp.48-49.)
