Cherney, a longtime Peninsula resident who died Wednesday at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City. Mrs. Cherney, a native of Italy, was a resident of San Carlos for the past eight years. She previously lived in Atherton for 30 years. She and her husband, Joseph Cherney, had been active in providing music and entertainment at the Fair Oaks Center in Redwood City and at various rest homes. Mrs. Cherney played the piano and organ and Mr. Cherney played button accordion. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Cherney is survivd by ...[names deleted]....
