| INFO | OBITUARY. Advocate [Burnie, Tasmania], 4 Oct 1952, p.4. "Obituary. Mr. F.G. Rockliff. Mr Francis George (Jack) Rockliff, who died recently in the Royal Melbourne Hospital at the age of 49 years was the eldest son of the late Mr and Mrs Ernest Rockliff and was born at Ulverstone. He commenced his education under a private teacher, and later attended the Launceston Grammar School. He lived all his life on his father's farm on Penguin Road. When he married Miss Elsie Nicoolson of Victoria, a portion of the farm was made over to him, and he lived there at "Sisters View." There were two children, Florence and Hartley. His wife died nine years ago. Three years later he married Hazel von Bibra of Ulverstone who survives him. Of an unassuming disposition, Mr. Rockliff had a wide circle of friends. He was a keen student of agriculture and was an enthusiastic sheep dog fancier. . . . The funeral was conducted by the Rev. A. J. Blanksby and took place in the Ulverstone Methodist Cemetery . . . ."
