INFO OBITUARY. Lodi News-Sentinel. Wed., 20 Feb 1957 Mrs. May E. Farmer [sic] passes in Stockton. Mrs. May E. Farmer, 74, of 604 E. Pine St., died last night in a Stockton hospital following an extended illness. A native of Chicago, Mrs. Farmer had lived in Lodi for the past 65 years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Mrs. Farmer was the wife of the late George B. Farmar of Lodi, who died in 1955. She was the mother of George A. Farmer of Lodi and the cousin of the Rev. Ray Wisner of Mt. Shasta. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the chapel of the Wells Funeral Home, with the Rev. J.L. Butler of the First Methodist Church officiating.
