Mr. Chubb "proved seeing the prisoner and another young man insulting everyone they came near, and just before he (witness) got up to the complainant the prisoner gave the complainant a deliberate blow in the face, and was just about the strike the complainant another blow when he(witness) caught hold of him and prevented him."
