INFO WORK IN SOUTH AFRICA. Alexandra and Yea Standard, 28 Oct 1910, p.3. Details of a meeting of the directorate of the Alexandra Dairy Company for the purpose of bidding farewell to Mr. H. Wightman, of Thornton, who was leaving for South Africa to take charge of a large butter making concern. Details of the proceedings are given. Mr. H. Wightman learned the butter business from his father, whose farm at Thornton is known to be a very extensive and successful butter-making operation. "Mr. Wightman left Melbourne on Saturday last, per s.s. Wilcannia to take over the management of the Harrismith Industries Limited (butter factory.)
